Sucralpet Oral Suspension contains sucralfate, an anti-ulcer agent that forms a protective barrier over ulcer sites in the gastrointestinal tract, aiding in their healing.
Dosage and Administration:
- Dogs:
- Small Dogs: 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 to 8 hours.
- Large Dogs: Up to 1,000 mg every 6 to 8 hours.
- Cats:
- 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 to 8 hours.
Each 5 ml of Sucralpet Oral Suspension contains 500 mg of sucralfate. Therefore, a 5 ml dose provides 500 mg of the active ingredient.
Administration Tips:
- Administer on an empty stomach, at least one hour before feeding.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Use a syringe or dropper to measure and administer the exact dose.
